A PSA hydrogen generator produces high-purity hydrogen by using adsorbent materials (like Carbon Molecular Sieves) in tanks to selectively capture impurities (like nitrogen, CO, CO2, water) from a gas stream under varying pressures, allowing pure hydrogen to pass through for continuous supply, widely used in electronics, chemicals, and fuel cells for its reliability and cost-effectiveness.

Apply Scope

In the pressure swing adsorption process, the desorption of the adsorbent in the adsorber is achieved by reducing the partial pressure of impurities. The methods that can be adopted in industrial equipment include

(1) Reduce the pressure of the adsorber (depressurization)

(2) Evacuate the air from the adsorber

(3) Rinse with the product components
